Oktoberfest 2009 Recap
Oktoberfest took place at Bayview Event Center in Excelsior overlooking Lake Minnetonka on October 22nd. Friends and supporters of CSHS enjoyed an evening tasting fabulous wine and beer provided by Aurora Wines & Spirits of Chaska.
We also enjoyed an awesome German buffet including grilled chicken in German beer served on a potato latke with basil aioli, baked apples with red cabbage, German potato salad, baguette rounds with grilled sausage, sauerkraut & melted smoked gouda, sauerbraten, a spaetzle martini bar, beer cheese shooters and German chocolate cake & more!
The silent auction was the best ever! Lots of money was raised for the animals. Thanks to all of our sponsors for their generous donations to the auction.
And thank you to all who attended. Your support allows us to continue helping the homeless, abused and unwanted animals find loving permanent homes.
