Carver-Scott Humane Society has many volunteer opportunities – something is bound to be just right for you!
Download the Volunteer Application to list your volunteer job preferences and return the completed form to CSHS.
If you’re a youth volunteer under the age of 18, download the Minor Waiver Form for your parent or legal guardian to sign to be considered for different fundraisers and events.
Here is a list of ideas on how youth can help...
- Organize a Coin Drive (Quarters for Kittens)
- Cans for Cash (Collect aluminum cans and cash them in)
- Hold a Supply Drive (check out our Wish List on the Website)
- Have a Fundraiser – (Carnival, Bake Sale, Car Wash)
- Make thank you cards for us to send to some of the different businesses we work with.
- Make things to sell (Dog Bandannas, Dog Biscuits, Book marks)
- Make things for our Foster Homes (Cat Toys, Cat Fleece Blankets, Dog Fleece Chew Toys)
- Organize a team to raise pledges and participate in our Walk Fur Love.
- Have a Booth at our Walk or provide some entertainment.
- Have a movie night with your friends and ask them to bring an item from our wish list.
- Have a Birthday Party and rather than a present ask your guests to bring something from our Wish List.
- Trick or Treat for Carver-Scott Humane Society.
- Participate in our bake sale at River City Days.
- If you are 16 work you can work at our Cub Brat stands in the Summer.
